Color Burst Macro - Ruby Tuesday

One photo, yes only one and it's my favorite out of a whole lot of shots I took this summer! A single Hibiscus, found at the Alexandra Gardens, Melbourne. I love the electric colors. Have a wonderful Ruby Tuesday everyone.

Lovely. You did a great job with the stamens. Hibiscus are one of my favorite subjects too. They're everywhere in my neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteAnd to answer your question, I don't think the bottlebrush is native to this region at all, but you do see them occasionally as part of a deliberate landscaping effort.
