Ruby Tuesday...
My favorite boy in the whole world stepped up to the plate and
gave me his best angles for this weeks Ruby Tuesday. He is
normally camera shy and runs for cover when I get behind the lens.
Not this time and I don't know what made the difference.
He let me snap a whole stream of shots and these are my
favorites. Some of you who have been following my Passionate
Fiction blog for a while will have seen this guy before, for those
of you who have not, this is Mr. Bun E. Rabbit; Buns for short.
He has been in our family for three years this April and is adored
by all. He's the one who hears about all my joys, frustrations
and cussing when I'm writing and it's not going too well. Poor boy
probably needs therapy. :)
Happy Ruby Tuesday everyone!

The third photo is not such a good one of Buns, but I love
it because he thought he had gotten away from me, pulled
out of sight just enough for me to forget about him. And I
like the touches of Ruby in this snap.
...and this is the boy when he was six weeks
old. He looks like he was having fun, but I think
he was scared out of his wits.
Love,
Eaton.

Dear Eaton,
ReplyDeleteI expected to see one of your beloved of a somewhat larger size.
Buns is a cutie, and will probably never reveal all the secrets you tell him.
In return your giving him so much love, he'll probably never need therapy.
Lovely pictures!
From Felisol
Did you name him after Bun E. Carlos of Cheap Trick? Cute guy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a QT ... love the little red car too ;--)
ReplyDeleteMine's at Small Reflections.
Hugs and blessings,
I'm in love with your bunny! Love his markings. He looks like he really enjoyed your garden.
ReplyDeleteLike the 1st and last pic! The 1st one is like it is playing peekaboo. And the last one: it's so fortunate to own a car during economic crisis now! ;p
ReplyDeleteBuns, what a cute name for a cute bunny. He's a great companion and listener. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful bunny..I put out some timothy hay pellets for the wild wintering buns here....
ReplyDeleteBuns is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love the last shot of him in the little red car. :)
My post this week is on my photoblog: Carletta’s Captures.
Beautiful red eyes :)
ReplyDeleteAwe! Cute little one. How nice he forgot to be shy.
ReplyDeleteHappy Ruby Tuesday!

Cute is as cute does. The red eyes and red car are perfect for Ruby Tuesday. And really, you should probably hire a therapist him - this would be a good way for him to loosen up, talk therapy is good for a bunny, too!
ReplyDeleteOh, eaton, bunnies do have pink eyes! I've not seen a bunny rabbit up close. Buns is adorable of course! And that shot of him as a baby makes me melt! Happy Ruby Tuesday! Thanks for Alannh Myles music too! :)
ReplyDeleteThe cutest RT entry!!!
ReplyDeleteThat was a nice surprise ! i was expecting a family memberof an other kind..
ReplyDeleteAnd in fact, he makes part of the family.
Funny post.
Eaton,
ReplyDeleteThis is just fabulous...I love it. so far this is one of my favorites!!
I am so glad I found you and your photography through Ruby Tuesday!!
Happy RT:-)
What a cutie pie :).
ReplyDelete(Which button were you talking about? Mine or one of the other ones?)
What a sweet RT entry today. Your irises are bigger than ours. We live in N. Central Texas and well, maybe after checking out the door ours are sort of largish, too. Sweet bunny and great photos. Isn't it amazing how pets and in my case, my mother in law can elude a smiling picture all the time. I only have a couple of her smiling...and then she fussed at me for taking it. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm lovin' the pictures of Buns. I think that for my next job, I want to become a rabbit therapist. Imagine the stories they have to tell.
ReplyDeletehe's a sweetie!
